CPR, First Aid, AED, ACLS & PALS Training

This was a real experience from one of our clients in September 2016

So this just happened… We were at Tia Coris Tacos, and some guys were joking around with the Mexican Street corn that we were selling. And one guy dared the other guy to try to fit the whole ear of corn in his mouth. Since both of them were fairly tipsy from the local wine walk, the guy tried it. The end of the corn broke off inside the guys throat and he started to choke. I was sitting about 2 feet away, When my nephew yelled out he's choking! So being the nurse I am I just performed the Heimlich maneuver for the first time in real life and saved the guys life… The corn popped out of his mouth like a shot!
